Being "frugal" is a state of mind as well as a way of life for many people.  Frugalism embraces many areas -- finances, home, family, vehicles, food, etc.

Becoming frugal doesn't happen overnight - you can't learn and implement everything all at one time.  Becoming frugal is a process which involves plenty of reading and learning and then finally implementation.

It's best to take small steps as you can and first concentrate on the areas where you need the most change to take place.  Then start integrating change in other areas.
